The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) is a health scheme run by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It provides complete healthcare to the employees, pensioners, and their dependents of the Central Government of India. And now the Central Government Health Scheme is also opening at Imphal. Here I am providing the official notice of the CGHS Imphal Allopathic wellness center below:

NOTIFICATION

Sub: Opening of a Central Govt. Health Scheme, Wellness Centre (allopathic) at Imphal

This is for information to all eligible Central Govt. employees / pensioners and other stakeholders that, a Central Govt. Health Scheme (CGHS) Wellness Centre sanctioned vide Govt. of India, Min. of Health & Family Welfare, CGHS (P) Division Order No.S.11045/1/2013/HEC, New Delhi dated 17th November 2014, will be functioning by 28th August 2017 at Ground Floor, MVHA building, Wangkhei, Ningthem, Pukhri, Mapan, Imphal – 795 001 to provide comprehensive medical facilities to the beneficiaries.

The scheme will cover the Imphal city and all eligible Central Govt. employees and their dependent family members, Central Govt. pensioners and their dependents and others eligible as per CGHS guideline residing in Imphal city.

The working hours of the CGHS Wellness Centre will be from 7:30 am to 02:00 pm in all working days except Sundays & holidays.

FAQ:

Q. What should I do if the details on the Card viz. name, date of birth, entitlement, etc. are wrong?

A. Kindly bring the anomalies to the notice of Additional Director, CGHS (HQ), in Delhi and to the Additional Director of concerned CGHS city in other cities, along with the necessary documents to rectify the error.

Q. What are the criteria for the Entitlement of ward endorsed on CGHS Card in CGHS Empanelled Hospitals?

A. Entitlement of wards in private hospitals empanelled under CGHS is as under

Q. I am a serving employee residing in a place close to a city covered under CGHS. Can I get a CGHS card issued from the nearest CGHScity?

A. There is no provision to avail CGHS facilities in respect of serving government employees residing in non-CGHS covered areas. They are covered under CS (MA) Rules 1944.
