CGHS is the model Health care facility provider for Central Government employees & Pensioners and is unique of its kind due to the large volume of the beneficiary base, and open-ended generous approach of providing health care.

Presently approximately 37 lakh beneficiaries are covered by CGHS in 77 cities all over India and the endeavor is to include more cities to improve the accessibility of the services.

FAQ:

Q. How Many wellness centers are there under the CGHS Agra?

A. Till date, there is only 1 wellness center in CGHS Agra

Q. Is there any age limit for sons /daughters as a dependent in CGHS Card?

A. Son is eligible until he starts earning or attains the age of 25 years or gets married whichever is earlier.

However, in case the son is suffering from any permanent disability of any kind (mental or physical) he is eligible for CGHS benefits even after 25 years, provided the disability occurred before the age of 25 years.

In the case of a daughter, she is eligible until she starts earning, or gets married; whichever is earlier (irrespective of age).

Q. What is the role of a beneficiary in providing information regarding any change in data regarding his card?

A. the beneficiary must provide data to CGHS authorities concerning any changes obligatory in the beneficiary record specifically related to marriage, death, or earning status (see dependence criteria) of any cardholder in the family.

Q. What are the Eligibility Criteria for CGHS?

A. Central Government employees and their family members etc. residing in any of the notified cities (CGHS Covered City List) are covered under the Scheme.
