Proposals for inaugural of new Central Government Health Scheme i.e. CGHS Dispensary in the Haryana state at Ambala, Faridabad (2nd Wellness Centre), Sonepat, Jhajjar, Rewari, Rohtak, and have been received. The Central Government will soon get approval to build a dispensary in Sonepat (CGHS Sonepat) under the Central Government Health Scheme. For its construction, the Central Government Retired Employees met the Chairman of Haryana Agricultural Marketing Board and former Minister Krishna Gehlawat to send their demand to the Chief Minister. The chairperson then met the Chief Minister and demanded a dispensary for him to solve his problem. Due to the efforts of the Chief Minister, now the ex-Central employees and retired personnel can get gifts.

Chairperson Krishna Gehlawat told that the Chief Minister tried for this. For this, he met the Union Minister. Now there is a possibility of getting a health scheme facility in the district soon. The demand to build a dispensary for the facilities of retired central employees in Sonepat was being raised for a long time. The chairperson said that as a result of the correspondence done, it is expected to get approval from the Central Government soon.

Gehlawat said that due to its formation, retired employees of the district will get its benefits. Chairperson Krishna Gehlawat said that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will make it easier for central government employees to undergo treatment. Central government employees will now be able to avail of this facility of about 90 thousand employees of Sonepat (CGHS Sonepat) under the Central Government Health Scheme i.e. CGHS.

The formalities of operalization of new C61-15 Wellness Centre (D-103) at It No- 58., Sector- IS., Part. Iv, Sonipat, Haryana were Initiated on 7/5/2019 and the same will start functioning shortly from the above premises. The area within the radius of 5 Km of “1.4.1411rress Centre Is covered under the CGHS WC Sonipat for serving eligible Central Government Employees. However, In the terms of OM No- C 14012/02/2018/CG1-1S-111/Dik dated 6/04/2018 one time option Is. mailable to the serving Central Government Employees residing outside- of the covered area but within the municipal limit of the city to enroll themselves with the above wellness Centre

Central Government pensioners are irrespective of their place of. residence are eligible to enroll themselves with the above CGHS Sonepat Wellness Centre.

(a) the details of the number of Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Dispensaries/Wellness centers functioning in the country as on date, State/UT-wise, including West Bengal, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh;

(b) the details of criteria adopted to open CGHS dispensary/Wellness centers in the country;

(c) whether the Government has any proposal to amend the criteria to open the said dispensaries keeping in view the low penetration of serving employees/ pensioners, if so, the details thereof; and

(d) whether the Government has received any proposal to set up CGHS dispensary in Haryana and if so, the details thereof?

(a) The number of Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Dispensaries functioning in the country State/UT-wise is shown in Annexure.

(b) The criteria fixed for setting up a Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) dispensary in a particular area are as under: –

(i) In an existing CGHS city: – For the opening of a new Allopathic CGHS dispensary in an existing CGHS city, there has to be a minimum of 2000 Cardholders (serving employees of Central Government and Central Civil pensioners).

(ii) Extension of CGHS to a new City: – For extension of CGHS to a new city, there has to be a minimum of 6,000 Cardholders.

(c) At present, there is no such proposal.

(d) Yes. Proposals for the opening of new CGHS Dispensary at Sonepat, Rewari, Ambala, Rohtak, Jhajjar, and Faridabad (Second Wellness Centre) have been received.
