Janashree Bima Yojana scheme is being run for rural landless laborers (registered laborers under Chief Minister Mazdoor Suraksha Yojana). For the implementation of the said scheme by the Government of India, Rs. An annual premium of 200 per member has been fixed out of which Rs. 100 per member by the Government of India and Rs. 100 per member is deposited by the State Government to the Insurance Life Insurance Corporation of India Premium. The scheme is operated by the Life Insurance Corporation of India through a nodal agency. Nodal agency means panchayat, NGO, self-help group or any other institutional arrangement.
The Janashree Bima Yojana (JBY) was implemented on August 10, 2000. the Indian Government and Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) had implemented the Janashree Bima Yojana (JBY), aiming to develop the at or below poverty line sector.
Citizens applying for the Janashree Bima Yojana (JBY) will have to pay a premium of INR 200/- and the remaining 50% will be provided by the State Government or Nodal Agency for premiums and the remaining 50% of the Social Security Fund.
The Janashree Bima Yojana (JBY) provides insurance to khadi craftsmen and the cost of the insurance premium is also very low. Under this scheme, the group of 45 Khadi artisans will get the benefit.

The main objective of implementing Janashree Bima Yojana (JBY) was to provide poor people below the poverty line and some poor line above the poverty line. There are two groups for this Janashree Bima Yojana (JBY). These are as follows:
Shiksha Sahyog Yojana (SSY)
The Shiksha Sahyog Yojana (SSY) also provides a social safety scheme, this yojana, for the children of parentages protected under this Janashree Bima Yojana (JBY). This Shiksha Sahyog Yojana (SSY) is actually an add-on advantage of the Janashree Bima Yojana (JBY). A subsidy sum of INR 600/- is compensated every after 6 months to the students who are studying in IX (11) and XII (12). This scholarship includes the ITI students too. Only 2 children of a single insured family can avail this facility.
All the groups of employees of those groups receive the benefit of Shiksha Sahyog Yojana (SSJ) when applied under the group Janashree Bima Yojana (JBY).
SUMMARY:
This has also been implemented for social uplift but under the Janashree Bima Yojana (JBY) the children of the workers get the benefit. Under this scheme, the children received scholarships for 1200 years of the full year for half year.

Women SHG (Self Help Groups) Groups
The Janashree Bima Yojana (JBY) also provides a special outline to the Women SHG (Self Help Groups) Groups to support their youngsters’ education. The Tenure life insurance covers amounting to INR 30,000/- is offered for a period of 1 year. And the premium of INR 200/- every year is collective between the Self Help Groups (SHG) members and the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC). INR 100/- is waged by the associate, whereas the balance INR 100/- is accepted by the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC).

Janashree Bima Yojana (JBY) Benefits
Casual Aid:
Occasionally there will be a benefit on partial disability and permanent disability or even death at the time of the accident.
Assistance at natural death:
If an employee dies, then, in that case, the nominee member of the family will be paid INR 30,000/- under the Janashree Bima Yojana (JBY).
- On receiving a partial disability, accidentally, INR 37500/- will be paid.
- In case of accidental death and permanent disability INR, 75000/- will be paid.
